Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basohayb, discussed today, in the temporary capital, Aden, with the UN Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator for Yemen, Diego Zorrilla, mechanisms for harmonizing humanitarian and development interventions to alleviate suffering as a result of the current difficult conditions in the country.
The meeting touched on the final preparations for holding a high-level workshop on the general framework for development, at the end of this November, with the participation of representatives of United Nations agencies, international organizations, and relevant government agencies.
