Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Major General Aidarous al-Zubaidi received today, Saturday, the Acting-Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Yevgeny Kudrov.
The session intended to discuss the latest developments about the ongoing regional and international efforts to end the war, establish peace in Yemen and initiate an inclusive political process guided by the UN to put an end of the conflict, re-establish security and stability in Yemen and the region.
Al-Zubaidi reiterated the PLC's willingness to push the peace efforts to end the war, make peace, underlining the importance of the Russian role in sustaining the regional and international efforts aiming to put an end of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen due to the war and the political aggravations over the past three decades.
The member of the PLC confirmed the consensus of the PLC's members about the key political issues which are set to be included in the upcoming political process first of all is the south issue.
The Acting-Russian Ambassador has affirmed his country's support for the regional and international efforts to make peace, re-establish security and stability in Yemen peace.
He also retreated his government's willingness to play greater role to push the efforts to initiate an inclusive political process under the UN's supervision.
The Russian diplomat stated that Moscow is willing to provide more humanitarian aids to relieve the Yemenis' suffering.
