Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani has warned of the consequences of Iran's recruitment of hundreds of Houthi militants from Yemen to Iran under the guise of scholarships to send them to the Revolutionary Guard's camps to train them in assembling ballistic and guided missiles and drones, and manufacturing landmines and explosive devices.

Al-Sa'adi receives UN Resident Coordinator in Yemen

Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Abdullah al-Sa'adi discussed Saturday with the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Yemen David Gressley economic and humanitarian situations in Yemen.

Al-Sa'adi pointed out to Keenness of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Internationally-recognized government on realizing peace and alleviating humanitarian suffering over Houthi terrorist militia's war on Yemeni people.

He highlighted important and exceptional efforts exerted by the UN coordinator during his tenure in Yemen and accomplished achievements they have been realized led by implementing the first phase the UN rescue plan of Safir Oil Tanker and avoiding economic, environmental and humanitarian disaster in Yemen and the region.

He confirmed significance of finalizing the UN plan fully and confirming filling the finance gap to end solving this important file.

For his part, Gressley reviewed the most important programs and projects he and his team accomplished during his term and important of continuous cooperation for facing current challenges and ensuring realizing peace in Yemen.
