Masam Removes 1,207 Landmines and War Remnants Last Week
The Saudi Project for Landmine Clearance in Yemen, “Masam,” announced that its teams removed 1,207 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices across Yemen last week, as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to clear contaminated areas and protect civilians from the dangers of war remnants.

'MASAM' removes 688 Houthis-laid landmines in the 4th week of October

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" pulled out 788 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the fourth week of current October.

The Center reported that 123 anti-tanks and 10 anti-personnel landmines, 553 UXO and two explosives devices were removed recently.

The total of the landmines, UXO and explosives devices which removed in this month is 2894.

It is important to note that MASAM has managed to remove 419 thousand and 997 of the landmines, UXO and explosives devices, all planted randomly and left by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different parts of Yemen.
