Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik presided over Monday joint meeting for the Command of Staff, the Fifth Military Region and Hajjah Province discussing latest developments of military, security and service situations.
The meeting, which was attended by Chief of Staff General Lieutenant Sagheer bin Aziz, Commander of the Fifth Military Region General Yahya Salah and Governor of Hajjah, discussed operational situations and field military situation in the fifth region, including marine military units in the Red Sea.
During the meeting, which was participated by Minister of Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari, Manager of Prime Minister's Office Anees Baharitha and Secretary General of Premiership Mutee'a Damaj, Chief of Staff provided a report on his field visits to warfronts of the Fifth Military Region in Hajjah and warfronts in Sa'adah, confirming fighting readiness of the heroes of the National Army to dealt with any emergency acts and deterring Houthi militia's attacks.
The Local Authority of Hajjah Province provided a report on needs in service domains and proposals of meeting them in accordance with swift priorities.
Prime Minister directed making complete report on rapid needs on the light of the visits of the Chief of Staff and reporting to the Council of Ministers for discussing it and taking necessary procedures within the available capabilities.
He emphasized significance of cooperation and coordination between armed forces, security apparatus and leaderships of local authorities in keeping security and stability, normalizing conditions and helping state institutions to provide basic services to citizens.
