Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi has arrived Sunday here in an emergency visit to Mahra Province supporting efforts of local authority in facing potential repercussions of the Cyclonic Hurricane "Tej" entering eastern provinces this week.
Upon arrival, President al-Alimi met with Governor of Mahra Mohammed Ali Yasser and leaderships of the local authority with attendance of Minister of Public Works and Roads Salem al-Aboudi.
He will inspect implementation of precautionary procedures and level of coordination between local authority apparatus, government and regional and international organizations to face all emergency possibilities and limiting expected impacts on citizens.
