Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, discussed today with the Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, the results of his visit to the United States of America.

Lieutenant General bin Aziz briefed Brigadier General Tariq Saleh on the results of his visit and his meetings with American officials mainly the Commander of US Central Command and the US Chief of Staff.

Bin Aziz referred to the nature of his meetings and the bilateral coordination that took place regarding discussing ways to support the Yemeni armed forces in confronting terrorism and protecting maritime navigation, as well as enhancing close security and military cooperation between the two countries.
