The recent republican decisions issued yesterday, Thursday, marked a new turning point in promoting the participation of Yemeni women in decision-making positions. The decisions included the appointment of Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, making her the first woman in the country's history to hold this sovereign portfolio. Al-Ameri discusses with IOM water interventions in Hadhramout

Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for the Districts of the Valley and the Desert Affairs Amer al-Ameri discussed Thursday with the Delegation of the International Organization for Migration the organization's interventions in field of water.

Al-Ameri praised interventions of the organization for it will help in alleviating floods danger, disposal of floods and building barriers for protecting populated areas, confirming readiness of the local authority to provide different forms of facilitations.

For his part, the organization's recovery officer reviewed nature of interventions, which will be implemented by the organization in field of agriculture and irrigation to improve livelihood, especially those affected by floods.
