Leadership Council discusses mechanisms for responding to repercussions of local, regional developments

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held a meeting today, Thursday, chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council and with the presence of its members Sultan al-Arada, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Othman Mujalli, while Saleh, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem al-Khanbashi contributed to the discussions via video call.

Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for the Districts of the Valley and the Desert Affairs Amer al-Ameri discussed Thursday with the Delegation of the International Organization for Migration the organization's interventions in field of water.

Al-Ameri praised interventions of the organization for it will help in alleviating floods danger, disposal of floods and building barriers for protecting populated areas, confirming readiness of the local authority to provide different forms of facilitations.

For his part, the organization's recovery officer reviewed nature of interventions, which will be implemented by the organization in field of agriculture and irrigation to improve livelihood, especially those affected by floods.
