The delegation of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, headed by the Assistant Deputy Health Minister for Population Sector, Dr. Ishraq Al-Sibai discussed with the United States Agency for Development and experts from the American John Snow Organization the plan to improve health services and their quality in government facilities.
The discussions, which lasted for four days in the Jordanian capital, Amman, touched on the details of the plan presented by the agency and which will be implemented by the organization and health sector partners over a period of five years. It aims to enhance access to primary health care services, strengthen the referral system to save mothers and children, and provide quality health services in health facilities in four governorates: Aden, Lahj, Hadhramaut, and Taiz.
