Aden - Saba
Yemen's Cabinet has reviewed the internal and external developments in light of recent developments in a number of aspects, and took a number of decisions and measures to deal with a number of issues, in line with the delicacy of the current circumstances and challenges.

In a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik today in the interim capital, Aden, today the Cabinet reviewed a number of reports related to the military, security, service and economic conditions, and government efforts under the directives of the Presidential Leadership Council to deal with priority issues, focusing on measures aimed at improving the standard of life and daily livelihood of citizens and alleviating the existing suffering.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister gave a comprehensive briefing to the members of the Council on the latest developments in the national arena, politically, militarily, security, economically and in services, and the dependent role of members of the government, state agencies and institutions, and local authorities in this historical and exceptional circumstance to overcome challenges and difficulties and carry out the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them, emphasizing that the government, in coordination with the Presidential Leadership Council, is working with all available capabilities to overcome any difficulties or challenges facing the performance of any ministry or government agency, in order to enable it to carry out its work in an optimal manner.

Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik reaffirmed the government's commitment to work with the Presidential Leadership Council to fulfill structural, financial and administrative reforms to improve the efficiency of government services, and to make optimal use of the generous support provided by brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the state's general budget.

He reviewed the current economic and service situation in the capital. Aden and the liberated governorates, including the coordinated measures with the local authorities to improve the generating capacity of the electrical system, and address the imbalances in this vital sector.

The Prime Minister touched on political developments in light of the regional and international moves, the Saudi-Omani mediation, and the visit of the United Nations Special Envoy to Aden, as part of efforts to resume the political process that the terrorist Houthi militia backed by the Iranian regime has turned against.

He referred to the results of his meetings with the Secretary-General of the GCC, the ambassadors of the European Union and a number of UN officials, and the strong and clear support he felt for the government and its plans to proceed with the path of reforms and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The Cabinet drew attention to the continued military escalation of the terrorist Houthi militia, the latest of which was the targeting of displaced persons camps in Marib governorate in conjunction with the visit of the UN envoy, and the militia's repeated threats to neighboring countries, reflecting its misunderstanding of the message of peace sent by the international community and that the militia does not see any peace effort as an opportunity and instead sees it as a cover for the continuation of the militia's battles against the people.
