His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, conducted today, Thursday, a telephone call to the Egyptian President Abdel-Fatah al-Sisi over bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
President al-Alimi voiced deep thanks and gratitude to President al-Sisi for his noble directives to offer the Yemeni nationals who are living in Egypt or visiting the required facilitations.
Al-Alimi briefed his Egyptian counterpart on the latest developments about the ongoing regional and international efforts to revive the peace process amid Iran-backed Houthi militias' intransigence and insistence on violence.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council highly appreciated the Egyptian's supportive stance in support of the Yemeni peoples and its legitimate leadership.
The Egyptian President reiterated Egypt's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the internationally recognized government, promising all support to the ongoing efforts to establish peace, stability and security in Yemen.
