Marib - Saba
A security source in Marib Governorate Police Department has said that the local security services are working diligently to enhance security and ensure a safe working environment for all regional and international organizations operating in the governorate, and to ensure the safety of all employees of humanitarian organizations.

In a statement of which Saba received a copy, the source expressed regret regarding what happened to two Médécins Sans Frontières (MSF) aid workers - a German and Myanmar national - on the international highway, saying MSF had officially notified Marib police that they don't need any security escort for their employees and field teams.

The source said the exceptional circumstances our country is going through - due to the terrorist Houthi militia's war –make it necessary upon aid organizations to arrange security escort service for their mobility and field visits with local security police in advance.

The security source called on all humanitarian organizations to abide by security instructions and procedures that aim to ensure everyone's safety.
