Governor of Lahj Ahmad Turky has praised humanitarian interventions of the Czech organization People in Need and its remarkable contributions in implementing a number of developmental and social projects in the province.
In his meeting with People in Need's Reginal Director for the Middle East Tomas Kocian on Monday, Governor Turky stressed importance of doubling the developmental programs of benefits to locals, displaced people and refugees.
For his part, Kocian made it clear that the organization has carried out a number of projects in water sector, pointing out that the organization has new action-plan in health sector for facing malnutrition in health facilities in Habilain City, Radfan District.
On the other hand, Governor of Lahj discussed Monday with World Food Program's work team in the province headed by Coordinator of the Assistance Project of the program Nageeb al-Saqqaf mechanisms of providing food assistances to the deserved people.
