President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent today a cable of congratulations to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of Egypt, on the occasion of the anniversary of the July 23 revolution, which restored sovereignty, pride, and elevation to the Egyptian people and nation.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his behalf and the members of the Council, expressed on this great occasion his sincere congratulations and wishes to President Sisi of good health and happiness, and to the dear people of Egypt further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council recalled Egypt's pivotal and firm position on the side of the Yemeni people, its political leadership, and its republican system at various stages, including supporting its development and educational path, leading to its pan-Arab and humanitarian role within the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, efforts to restore state institutions, end the suffering of the Yemeni people, and the coup of the Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the historical relations between the Republic of Yemen and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the promising prospects that await them, including bilateral coordination to face common challenges, and take care of the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples at various levels.
