Governors of Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhalea governorates swear-in before President al-Alimi
The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

Health Minister: Yemen received over 55 thousand of African refugees since the onset of this year

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhaibeh said" Yemen has received more than 55 thousand refugees from the African Horn since the start of this year 2023".
His remark came as he contributed today, Wednesday, to a training and raising awareness workshop about the health of the migrants organized by the Department of Health at Seaports and Entries in the Ministry of Public Health and Population.
The Minister added " There is a remarkable increase in the number of the refugees who arrived in the country this year compared to the three previous years".
Dr. Qasem highlighted for sustaining the government's efforts to help the refugees and hosting community".
