Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fishery Salim Assoqatri greatly valued German support for the fishery and agriculture production in Yemen through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
He voiced his remarks as he met today, Sunday, in the interim capital Aden with the Director of the Fishery and Agricultural Activities at the GIZ Dr. Mohammed Hashimi, the Project of Boasting Survival and Partnership at Local Level in Yemen.
The project is carried out by the GIZ with total amount of 42.5 million euro.
The Minister cited the pressing needs of the Central Laboratory for ensuring good quality of the fishes, including training the staffs.
Separately, Assoqatri held discussions with a delegation from the UNDP over cooperation between the two sides and UNDP's projects and interventions in water and irrigation sector.
