Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Sultan al-Eradah held conversations today, Tuesday, with the Sweden Envoy to Yemen Peter Semneby over the developments of the situations in Yemen and the ongoing efforts to end the war, achieve peace all over the country.
Al-Eradah detailed Semneby on the latest political and military developments and the repercussions of these developments upon the economic situations and the humanitarian crisis the Yemeni peoples have been enduring, particularly the IDPs.
He cited the most important difficulties facing the political process tracks and the efforts aiming to renew the humanitarian truce amid the Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias' escalation by targeting the oil and economic facilities, threatening the international trade lines and international water passages.
The member of the Presidential Leadership Council has confirmed the Presidential Council's support and the government's for the efforts of the UN's Special Envoy to Yemen and all regional and international good offices to make the comprehensive, fair and permanent peace all over the country.
Al-Eradah voiced the appreciation and gratitude of Yemen to the Swedish government for its political efforts and significant contribution to the humanitarian actions in Yemen.
He highly appreciated the Sweden's initiative to host the donors conference the UN is intending to hold it on the 27th of this month with the aim of financing the Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen this year.
