Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak discussed Monday with UAE Ambassador to Yemen Mohammad al-Zaabi mutual relations between the two countries and means of promoting them.
The two parties also discussed latest developments in Yemen and UN and regional efforts to extend the UN Truce ending with just and inclusive peace on the bases of the three agreed-upon references.
BinMubarak reviewed Houthi terrorist militia's escalation on a number of warfronts, its continuous attempts of smuggling weapons and targeting oil establishments and repercussions of these attacks on economic situation and the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
For his part, the UAE ambassador expressed deep-rooted relations between the two countries, renewing his country's firm position supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and efforts of realizing aspirations of Yemeni people in security, stability and decent life.
The ambassador confirmed UAE support to Yemen's unity, sovereignty and territorial safety.
