The Governor of Taiz Governorate Nabil Shamsan discussed Tuesday with the Chairman of Rahma Worldwide Foundation Dr. Shadi Zaza the foundation’s interventions in the governorate and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination, particularly in priority sectors, in a manner that contributes to meeting the humanitarian and development needs of the people of the governorate.

Interior minister receives several European ambassadors

Minister of Interior General Lieutenant Ibrahim Hidan met Wednesday with Chairman of the European Mission Gabriel Vinales and Ambassadors of France, Germany and Switzerland.

In the meeting, Minister Hidan confirmed significance of EU's support in designating Houthi militia a terrorist group and blacklisting it as a group threatens local and international security and peace.

He pointed out to strong link between Houthi militia and other terrorist organizations like DAESH and al-Qaeda including the UN recent report, which includes that the militia released a number of terrorist elements from its prisons to use them in carrying out terrorist operations in liberated provinces.

For their part, the Head of the European Missions and the ambassadors pointed out that the meeting aimed at understanding the security situation in liberated provinces closely and challenges facing security forces in the ministry.

They confirmed continuous support from the European Union to the government in different fields, denouncing violating human rights by Houthi terrorist militia.
