His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, returned today, Saturday, to the interim capital Aden from the United Arab Emirates, after a successful foreign tour that also included Algeria, Egypt and Jordan.
During these visits, which were later joined by members of the Presidential Leadership Council, Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, Tariq Saleh, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council held talks with leaders of brotherly and friendly countries, representatives of international organizations, and political and diplomatic actors.
The visits, and meetings on the sidelines of the Arab and climate summits, discussed developments in the Yemeni situation, the required support for economic and service reforms led by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, and the announced measures to deter violations by the terrorist Houthi militia backed by the Iranian regime, and to contain its disastrous repercussions on the national economy, and the worst humanitarian crisis in Yemen and on world and international peace and security.
