Yemen condemns Israeli Knesset's approval of law to execute Palestinian prisoners
The Republic of Yemen strongly condemns, in the strongest terms, the approval by what is known as the Israeli Knesset of a law stipulating the execution of Palestinian prisoners, and considers it an extremely dangerous escalation and a legislative precedent that entrenches an approach of extermination, and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a breach of international charters and agreements, namely the relevant Geneva Conventions on the protection of prisoners.

President of the Supreme Judicial Council inspects the flow of work in Aden appeal courts

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Mohsen bin Talib, inspected today the workflow of the Courts of Appeal and the Commercial Appeal Division in Aden.

During the visit, which was accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Council, Judge Dr. Ali Atbush Awad, and the Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Nazim Bawazeer, the President of the Council was briefed by the two presidents of the courts on the progress of work in the various departments, hearing rooms, and the difficulties and obstacles that hinder the work of courts and judges.

The head of the council toured the library and historical archive of the court, which contains hundreds of books, thousands of historical volumes and rare manuscripts, some of which are more than a hundred years old, that simulate the history of the city of Aden and its judiciary since the era of the British occupation, calling for the preservation of this important legacy from extinction and taking care of it because of its value and historical treasure.
