Kuwaiti Crown Prince receives President al-Alimi, confirms Kuwait's full support for Yemen's security, stability

Kuwaiti Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received today, Wednesday, here at Bayan Palace His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimi and his accompanying delegation who are on a visit to the State of Kuwait now.

The Kuwaiti Crown Prince welcomed President al-Alim, confirming Kuwait's full support for all efforts of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in support of legitimacy in Yemen to re-establish security, stability and prosperity in Yemen.

He also reiterated Kuwait's support for the UN's regional and international political, economic and humanitarian efforts in Yemen.

Sheik Mishaal highly praised the brave stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman that helped bringing the Yemenis together, establishing the PLC.

For his part, President al-Alimi voiced great thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait, the Emir, government and peoples for their generous support for Yemen in different fields throughout several decades.

He cited the challenges facing the PLC in terms of the economic, financial reforms and basic services within the course of restoring the State and re-build its destroyed institutions.

Al-ALimi briefed Sheikh Mishaal on the developments in Yemen and the PLC's efforts to achieve the economic, military and security reforms and the needed support to bolster these reforms.

The Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sobah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sobaha pointed out to the royal directives of His Highness, the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sobah and His Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Mishaal that direct providing all forms of support for the Yemeni people and political leadership including appointing new Ambassador and naming a Coordinator for Kuwait projects in Yemen.

Foreign Minister Ahmed bin Mubarak, Minister of Planning Wa'id Batheeb, Minnister of Transport Abdussalam Humaid and Minister of Health Qasem Buhaibeh and Executive Director of the Apparatus of Absorbing Donors' Pledges Afrah al-Zouba were in attendance.

From the Kuwait side Ministers of the Royal Divan Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al-Sobah, Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Sobah, Minister of Health Khaled Assa'id, Minister of Public Works, Electricity, Water and Renewal Energy Ali Mossa and the Chief of Ceremonies, sheikh Basel Al-Sobah.
