The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) convened a session today chaired by the head of the PLC Dr. Rashad al-Alimi.

The PLC reviewed its outline plan for the coming period, setting out its priorities to be in focus of its actions.

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) also held joint meeting today brought together the head and members of the technocrats government and the governors of the governorates presided over by the Head of the PLC Dr. Rashad al-Alimi..
The session devoted to discuss the top priorities of the current stage the government and local authorities need to work on in the upcoming stage.

Dr. Al-Alimi noted that this meeting is intended to be a notion for holding a conference for the governors in the temporary capital Aden to discuss the challenges and obstacles facing the local authorities in dealing with the central authority and explore solutions.

On another development, the Head of the PLC met separately with the Secretary General of the GCC Dr. Nayef al-Hajraf and the Ambassadors of the five permanent member states of the International Security Council to Yemen.

The discussions focused on the latest developments in Yemen and the underway efforts to establish the fair and sustainable peace.
