Meeting discusses progress of Saudi oil grant to operate Yemen power stations

A virtual meeting held today chaired by the Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Anwar Kalashat, discussed the level of the oil derivatives grant provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the SDRPY to operate power stations in Yemen.
The meeting, which included a number of stakeholders from the Ministry of Electricity, the Steering Committee of the Oil Derivatives Grant, the General Electricity Corporation and the Saudi Program SPDRY, touched on a report on the last phase of the grant and the mechanism for preparing a work program for the coming period.
Minister Kalashat praised the support of the brothers in the Kingdom and the efforts of the workers in the Saudi program.. praising their support for the Yemeni people and the government by providing electricity fuel and improving power generation.
