Transport Minister Abdulsalam Saleh Humaid discussed Thursday with Director of Saudi Program for Yemen's Development and Reconstruction Ahmad al-Madkhali the ongoing work in the project of rehabilitating and improving Aden International Airport, which includes doing maintenance work of the airport's runways and installing security monitoring system.

Minister Humaid praised the role played by the Saudi Program of rehabilitating the airport and following up the implementation by the contracting companies, pointing out to significance of the projects implemented by the program in field of qualifying ports in Aden, Mukalla and Socotra and requalifying ground outlets and roads in Aden and Mahra.

For his part, al-Madkhali praised efforts exerted by the ministry for facilitating the work and projects of the program.
