Yemen, Arab and Muslim Nations Reject Somaliland Move to Establish Mission in Occupied Jerusalem
Yemen and several Arab and Muslim countries have denounced the announcement by the self-declared Somaliland region regarding the opening of what was described as a diplomatic mission in occupied Jerusalem, calling the move unlawful and a clear breach of international law and relevant UN resolutions governing the status of the city.

Yemen, UN discuss cooperation in agriculture, fishery fields

Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries General Salem al-Suqatri discussed Monday with UN Assistant Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs Adigo Zuril cooperation in agricultural and fishery fields.

Th meeting touched upon mechanism of preparing a strategic plan to the ministry and matrix of agricultural and fishery programs to transfer the UN assistances from emergency into increasing agricultural and fishery production to increase general domestic product and contribute in reviving national economy.

Al-Suqatri talked about the ministry's need to support institutions and public bodies, improve the abilities of the cadre and agricultural and fishery researches to promote work and define fishery reserve and means to ensure reduce costs of basic goods through reduction of insurance fees on imports.

For his part, the UN official confirmed readiness of the UN's organizations to provide more support and human and developmental assistances needed by Yemen and confirmed that the developmental domain will get the biggest size of interventions.
