Health Minister: 14 oxygen factories to be established at $4mln

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Bahebeh announced today about practical steps to establish 14 oxygen factories with total cost above $4 million dollars.

He told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) " Technical teams associate to the Ministry will move from tomorrow, Monday, to 14 health facilities to initiate practical steps to install the oxygen factories, deliver sites to the importer company".

The Minister added" Yemen has got a loan from the Islamic Bank for Development through the WHO with an amount exceeds 4 million dollars, it was assigned to pack oxygen cylinders but the Ministry demanded to take the advantage of the loan to establish oxygen factories to ensure the sustainability of oxygen production to make it available all the times".
