Deputy Governor of of Al-Jawf, the Chairman of the Relief Sub-Committee, Eng. Abdullah Al-Hashidi, discussed with the representative of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Marib the executive measures to assign the responsibility of the displacement areas in east of Al-Jawf governorate to the offices of Marib and Aden.
Al-Hashidi called the OCHA official to visit the areas of displacement east of Al-Jawf governorate, to see closely the conditions of the displaced, their basic needs and their suffering resulting from the lack of basic needs in the absence of donor organizations in those areas.
For his part, the UN official stressed the importance of directing organizations to intervene in the areas of displacement east of Al-Jawf, pointing to the keenness of the OCHA in Marib to meet the needs of the displaced and to cooperate with the local authority in the governorate.
