RIYADH - SABA
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani has denounced kidnaping singer Yousof al-Badagi by Houthi militia from the front of his house in Sana'a.
He made clear that kidnapping al-Badagi is continuation to Houthi militia's systematic campaigns targeting singing in wedding and ceremonies, cracking down on singers and forcing them to leave the country.
He pointed out that this coward act reflects Houthi militia hegemony and trying to impose their backward approach on society by force and appointing themselves guardian on the people and their privacy.
"Houthi terrorist militia's practices in their held areas is additional confirmation on backward future waiting for Yemeni people if the militia would have been able to impose its coupist agenda on their necks," said al-Eryani.
He renewed call to international community, the United Nations and human rights organizations to denounce Houthi militia's suppression against singers in their held areas.
