Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badheeb, discussed with the Regional Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services in the Middle East Bana Kaloti supporting service projects in various governorates.
They discussed mechanisms of interventions related to supporting the health sector, and the mechanism used by the organization to cover the solar energy needs of the education, health and other sectors in a number of governorates.
The UNOPS director briefed Badheeb on the progress of service projects being implemented by the organization in various governorates, as well as new planned projects in the water and sanitation sectors, municipal works and solid waste disposal.
He stressed the importance of coordinating with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to be fully aware of the implemented projects and to provide all facilitations for organizations to implement their projects.
