The talks also touched upon the latest developments in Yemen including the recent Houthi militia's military escalations and operations on the governorate of Marib, Taiz and Aljwaf.
The Canadian official affirmed his country's support for the Yemeni legitimate government and the UN-led efforts to make peace in Yemen.
