Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik presided over a meeting today in the interim capital Aden included the Command of the Fourth Military Region and commanders of several brigades.
The session devoted to review the practical steps have been taken to unify the military and security decision under the umbrella of the two Ministries of Defense and Interior as stipulated in Riyadh Agreement.
The Prime Minister cited the plans incorporated in the government overall program to handle the problems the military institution has been facing, first and foremost ensuring regular pay of the armed forces salaries.
Dr. Ma'een highly praised the huge sacrifices have been extended by the military troops, local resistance fighters and tribesmen in the ongoing battles against Iran-backed Houthi militia.
