Water Minister, Dutch ambassador discuss cooperation

Yemen's Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeek Alsharjabi discussed in a video call with the ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Yemen Peter Derek Hoff cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The talks focused on cooperation in the fields of water, sanitation, environment, water management and rural water supply.
Alsharjabi said improving water and sanitation services and rebuilding the institutions and capacities are high on his ministry's agenda. Alsharjabi hailed the Dutch interventions through Solidarity Organization including projects under preparation for Kkhoka, Okha, Hodeidah and Beidha areas.
He affirmed the government's determination to stay in the temporary capital Aden and assume its responsibility towards its people.
The Dutch ambassador hailed the government's courage to stay in Aden despite the terrorist Attack 30 December attempt on the government in Aden International Airport. He condemned the terror attack which killed and injured a large number of civilians including aid workers.
