Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to France Riyadh Yaseen stressed that the US Department of State's decision about the designation Houthi militia "terrorist organization" is very important and imperative to mount pressure upon the militias to change its criminal behavior and to push peace process a head.
Yaseen's remarks came as he met here on Wednesday with the Head of North Africa and Middle East Section in the French Foreign Ministry Christophe Varno.
Yaseen detailed Varno on the Aden airport terrorist attack upon the government arrival at the airport under the implementation of Riyadh Agreement. He noted that Houthi militia is involved in the terrorist operation which resulted in killing dozens of civilians, injuring scores more.
The French official affirmed his country's support for the legitimate Yemeni government and the peace process in Yemen; voicing his condemnation of the terrorist attack on Aden airport.
