Yemen welcomes the U.S. Department of Treasury sanctions against some Houthi militia leaders

The Yemeni Government has welcomed the U.S. Department of Treasury designations target five of the terrorist Houthi militia's leaders who are perpetrators of serious human rights abuse.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry learned by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) applauded this step which comes to stand with the civilian victims against the oppression and crimes of these terrorist militias.
The Ministry stated that it is looking forward to see similar steps taken by the International Community (IC) to deter these terrorist militias which have never stop committing crimes and grave violations including bombing houses, worship places, arrest and torture journalists, activists and politicians, besieging cities, planting landmines and using health and educational facilities for military purposes.
