Aden-Saba
Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh, inspected the construction progress of the Hope Cancer Hospital project in Aden's Al-Buriqueh district, funded by the Hayel Saeed Anam Group.
The hospital, supervised by the National Cancer Control Foundation, will feature a 200-bed capacity for men, women, and children with radiation and nuclear medicine units, operating rooms, emergency department, diagnostic labs, and blood bank, and advanced atomic treatment and diagnostic imaging equipment.
Minister Buhaybeh stated that this hospital will significantly enhance Yemen's healthcare sector, reducing the need for cancer patients to travel abroad for treatment.
The project's completion is expected to provide comprehensive medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and psychological support, aligning with Yemen's vision to localize cancer treatment and alleviate patient suffering.
