RIYADH-SABA
Yemen’s Information Minister said the Iranian regime’s excess in provocations in Yemen is “a natural result of the silence of the international community and the failure of the UN Security Council to enforce the UN charter against those who threat peace in Yemen.
In a statement to Saba, Muammar al-Eryani said the appearance of the Quds Force officer Hassan Erlo in a Houthi organized religious occasion in Sana’a on Friday “affirms our argument that the Iranian regime has imposed a military governor for Sana’a … to supervise sectarian incitement and mobilization of militants to the warfronts against the government.”
Al-Eryani said the “attempts by Iran to impose a status quo in the Houthi militia’s regions of control will see no success. Yemenis from all stripes reject the Iranian expansion project and will continue to struggle until every inch of its soil is liberated.”
