Ambassador of the Peoples' Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Mr. Kang Yong reiterated China's support for a political solution to the Yemeni crisis through dialogue and on the basis of the three terms of reference including the GCC's Initiative, outcomes of National Dialogue and UNSCR 2216.
In his congratulation to the Yemeni people on the 58th Anniversary of the 26th of September Revolution Mr. Yong stated that his country will keep on communicating with all parties to the Yemeni crisis, urging negotiating, advising reconciliation to ease disputes and engaging constructively in the Yemeni political crisis.
He reaffirming China's continuous contribution to the humanitarian and relief actions in Yemen to help mitigating the humanitarian crisis and allay the Yemeni people suffering.
The Chinese diplomat praised Yemeni-Chinese relations describing as robust and deeply rooted.
He also praised the 26th of September revolution, voiced his admiration of the Yemeni revolutionists who sacrificed their own lives to defend the revolution and establish the Republic of Yemen.
"I have deep faith in the Yemeni peoples' competence to manage challenges, open new chapter of history inspired by the spirit of the 26 September revolution", said Yong.
