Yemen FM warns of Houthi-caused catastrophe to the region and the world
[06/07/2020 02:28]
RIYADH-SABA
Yemen's Foreign Minister has warned of a massive environmental catastrophe that Houthi rebels will cause to the region and the whole world by holding hostage an oil tanker on the brink of explosion or leakage.

Addressing the ninth ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) held virtually today, Mohammed al-Hadhrami said the rebel militia have repeatedly denied UN experts access to the tanker to empty out its content - 1.4 million barrels of crude – and do maintenance for it as rust has begun to appear in its interior.

He said the theocratic racist militia has refused the offers to prevent the environmental disaster in the same fashion they refused the political settlement for six years and continued their endless fight.
