TAIZ-SABA
Two women were injured in an indiscriminate Houthi attack on Maqbanah district, west of Taiz on Friday, a local source said.
The rebel Houthi militia were trying to overrun the government-controlled area but met with army resistance, resorted to fierce shelling which caused the injury of the two women, one of them seriously.
"The attack was the most fierce that Houthis have launched in the past couple of days," said the source.
The Iran-backed militants have been besieging the pro-government city for nearly five years, barring the movement of passengers and entry of food and medical provisions to it.
