The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani, returned today, Tuesday, to the temporary capital Aden, after participating in the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Interior has announced suspension of its work in the ministry and authorities of migration and passports and civil status in the transitional capital Aden from Saturday August 17 until further notice.
"Suspension of the work comes after armed rebellion carried out by the militia of the so-called the Transitional Council against the internationally recognized government and its state institutions," said the ministry in a release issued Saturday.
The release added that the ministry of interior-while it expresses its extreme regret on the repercussions of taking this decision- the decision has been issued for meeting conditions and constitutional and legal duties serving social and people interests.
The ministry pointed out that all measures and practices taken after issuing of this announcement are considered illegal and have not effect and further holds perpetrators accountable.
The ministry called upon all officers, non-commissioned individuals and all the ministry affiliates to stand together for facing the militarized coup against the government in compliance to duty and fulfilling national oath.
The release pointed out that the ministry will announce resumption of its work in its office in the transitional capital Aden after regaining the state institutions and its camps.
