VP, British Acting Ambassador discus developments

RIYADH-SABA
Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Thursday with Acting-Ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to Yemen, Military attaché in the embassy , Colonel Mathew Stowers.

The session aimed to discuss the latest developments in Yemen including Houthis' reluctance about implementing Stockholm Agreement about Hodeidah.

Discussions also touched upon Yemeni-British bilateral ties and cooperation.
Mohesion expressed Yemen's appreciation for the UK's support for legality in Yemen.

The Vice President reiterated that legitimate leadership led by President Hadi is very interested in establishing peace that is based on the three well know terms of reference.

He also pointed out to the crimes and violations have been committed by the putschist Houthi militia against the Yemeni people including killing, abducting and torture.

For his part, the British Acting Ambassador reiterated his country's support for legality in Yemen and further boosting bilateral ties between the two countries.
