Almaysari : Government very interested in boosting security cooperation with Washinton

Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Almaysari stated that legitimate government is very keen on blistering aspects of security cooperation with the U.S.A.

His statement as he met Thursday in the interim capital Aden with the U.S. Ambassador to Yemeni Mathew Tuller and his accompanying delegation included Assistant of the US Secretary of Defense.

Aspects of Yemeni-American security cooperation, mainly countering terrorism were key focus of Almaysari's conversations with Tuller.

Almaysari touched upon the Yemeni security services' efforts including coast guards.

For his part, the US Ambassador said his administration has a confidence that Yemenis are competent of building their own nation and getting rid of terrorist groups.

He also reiterated his country's support for the UN's efforts to establishing peace Yemen and putting an end of the Yemeni peoples' ordeal.
