Minister of Fishery Wealth Fahd Kafayen discussed with Turkish Ambassador to Yemen FarukBozgoz cooperation in fishery wealth and Turkish support to Yemen in this field.
The meeting dealt with compensating fishermen who have affected by the war triggered by Houthi militia, reconstructing fishery facilities, qualifying fishery sector, supporting fishery researches, exchanging expertise and activating signed treaties.
Minster Kafayen valued Turkish government's support to Yemeni people and the government, confirming keenness on boosting relations between Yemen and Turkey in fishery field.
For his part, the Turkish diplomat confirmed his country's support to the government of President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi for realizing peace in Yemen, confirming support to fishery sector, mainly in training and qualifying fishermen and providing them with boats.
