The Speaker of Jordanian Parliament Engineer Atef al-Terawina received on Sunday Yemen's Foreign Minister Khaled al-Yemany, who explained situations development in Yemen and conveyed appreciation of the government to the Kingdom of and people of Jordan for their support to Yemeni legality for regaining the state.
For his part, the Jordanian Parliament Speaker re-confirmed his country's firm support to the government of Yemen and hoped Yemen overcomes this crisis.
On the other hand, Foreign Minister met on Sunday with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Raja'i al-Mashar and discussed with him mutual relations between the two countries and means of boosting them.
For his part, al-Mashar expressed readiness of his country's government for resuming cooperation program including improving government's performance within the agreement to be signed during the joint committee's meeting.
Foreign Minister then made a visit to the office of the UN Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths in Amman and discussed with the office's staff recent developments in implementing Stockholm agreement on Hodeida, Taiz and prisoners and kidnapped people.
He confirmed speeding up implementation of the agreement for protecting the political approach resumed during Sweden consultations.
