Governor of Aden Ahmad Salem Rabi' Ali and Director of the National Anti-Cancer Corporation in Aden Ibrahim ba-Mafroush launched here on Tuesday the annual charitable campaign " I will Start my Year Charitably 1-1{ giving the wages of the first day of January} for Supporting Cancer Patients".
In the launching ceremony, Governor of Aden confirmed integration efforts of all for combating cancer, which has become widespread in the world recently, and praised efforts of the National Anti –Cancer Corporation in Aden for helping patients and alleviating their suffering.
He also called all for enacting with the campaign and voluntary donation with giving the wages and the income of the first day of the year 2019, stand by the corporation and supporting its efforts for continuation of providing its services and taking care of cancer patients.
For his part ba-Mafroush has said the idea of the campaign and implementing it has started in 2015 and the corporation provides its services to the patients since its establishment 12 years ago and more than 7000 thousand patients made use of the annually charitable fundraising amounted to YR 42,5million.
He added that the corporation works on four ideas edification and awareness of cancer, avoiding its reasons and early diagnosis and providing health services in addition to providing psychological support and social donation to patients.
