Deputy Governor of TaizAbdulqawi al-Mikhlafi presided over a meeting on Wednesday discussing Emergency Response Plan -2019.
The meeting dealt with efforts exerted for meeting needs of the province and discussed challenges facing the local authority's performance and concerned bodies for meeting this needs and creating solutions for overcoming them.
Al-Mikhlafi stressed quick preparations for making plans on Taiz needs and doubling efforts and coordination with organizations and donors.
Director of Planning and International Cooperation office Nabil Jamel reviewed objectives and dimensions of the emergency response plan for Taiz and mechanism for dealing with international organizations on their interventions in the province.
He confirmed that Taiz will provide unified plan in different sectors; health, education, agriculture, cleanness and water.
The technical committee entrusted with preparing and following up the plan distributed symbols for the plan to all districts and planning monitors.
