Bajash visits Cuban Parliament, explores further cooperation

Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs Dr Mansour Bajash paid a visit Thursday to the Cuban Parliament. He met with Deputy Speaker of Cuban Parliament Anne Marie Mashada.

Bajash conversations with Mashada focused on the Yemeni-Cuban bilateral ties and cooperation. He praised the deep-rooted Yemeni Cuban friendship, deeply appreciating Cuban support for Yemeni people, particularly Cuban medical assistance.

Separately, Dr Bajash met with Undersecretary of Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment.

The meeting aimed at increasing bilateral ties between the two countries in the field of trade.

The Cuban official welcomed the notion of considering aspects of different cooperation between the two countries, suggesting that it is important to devise action-plan to resume cooperation once peace and stability re-established in Yemen.

He also noted that the Cuban officials about to finish considering the Yemeni request for ten more Cuban scholarships in medicine.
