Yemen's airlines, fleet discussed

Minister of Transportation Saleh al-Jabwani presided over a meeting for the Council of the Executive Directors of the Yemeni Airline Company on Thursday discussing situations of the company, its fleet and technical problems.

Attended by the Chairman of the Board Captain Ahmad al-Alwani and the Director of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Captain Saleh bin-Nuhaid, the meeting dealt with complaints by citizens over the system of booking.

Minister al-Jabwani stressed on controlling the timetable of flights and taking care of the safety of the citizens, confirming that everyone will be held accountable on misconduct.

He pointed out that a committee is being formed for evaluating the situation of the company and solving mistakes, directing the company's administration to solve technical problems associated with the planes.
