The biannual meeting of the Council of Ministry of Fishery of 2018 commenced Sunday, chaired by Minister of Fishery Wealth Fahd Kafine.
The two-day gathering is set to discuss a report of performance of the Ministry outline plan in the first half of 2018 that generally focused on renormalizing situations in fishery sector and to provide fishermen with compensation and assistance.
Kafine stated that Ministry's top priority is to improve revenues, help fishermen to cope with the hardship they have facing due to the war and revitalize fishery sector.
